The YGZ90 Drifter Drill is one of the independent rotary rock drill series products developed and manufactured by our company. This model is used in conjunction with FJY25, FJY22 disc-type drill rigs or CTC14B mining drill rigs as a medium-deep hole drilling equipment powered by compressed air. Even if jamming occurs, it can be resolved using weak impact combined with strong rotation. The drill's optimal axial thrust range is wide, ensuring ease of operation. The key operational guidelines are outlined below:
For different rock types, adjust the impact energy, rotation speed, and axial thrust based on debris removal conditions to achieve higher drilling efficiency. For medium-hard rocks, moderately reduce impact force while increasing rotation speed, and avoid excessive thrust. For hard rocks, increase impact force, lower rotation speed, and apply greater thrust.
When encountering fractures or cavities that cause rod jamming, reduce the impact force and increase the rotation speed, or even stop the impact entirely and rely solely on rotation to pass through the jammed area and resolve the issue.
Due to the valve-less air distribution design, the working air pressure should not be lower than 0.5MPa.
The flushing water pressure should not be lower than 0.4 MPa.
The rock drill must maintain good lubrication conditions to prevent localized overheating and scoring on friction surfaces (especially the mating surfaces between the piston, cylinder, and air distribution components) during high-speed operation.
