Q: What precautions should be taken when using YG80?
A: The air pressure used by rock drills should be maintained at 5-7 kg/cm². If the air pressure is too low, the drilling efficiency cannot be fully utilized; if it is too high, the lifespan of the machine parts will significantly decrease. The compressed air used must be dry; if it contains too much moisture, it will wash away the lubricating oil film on the machine parts, affecting lubrication. An air-water separator should be installed on the compressed air pipeline to remove moisture from the compressed air.

① The inner diameter of the hose should meet the specified requirements or use a slightly larger substitute.
② The hose should be as short as possible, reducing intermediate joints to eliminate leaks.

The quality of the drill string greatly affects the efficiency of the rock drill, especially when the machine parameters are large and its performance is high, the quality requirements for the drill string are stricter. ① The drill shank specifications should meet the drawing requirements (Φ38×97), and the drill shank must be equipped with a sealing ring (CZ300-F101). If any failure is found, it should be replaced immediately to avoid water ingress inside the machine, which would affect lubrication and cause ice blockage at the exhaust port, impacting the rock drilling effect and powder removal capability.
② The mating surfaces of the drill shank and drill rod must be flat and in proper contact to ensure effective energy transfer; otherwise, leakage of water or air may occur. The threaded sections of the drill shank and drill rod should have a certain length and gap; too large a gap can easily cause damage, while too small a gap makes it difficult to install or remove the drill rod. The drill rod should be straight, as any deviation will increase friction between the drill rod and the hole wall, increasing resistance.
③ The internal hole of the drill string should be unobstructed. The alloy segments of the drill bit should be symmetrically welded securely. During operation, the drill tip should be kept sharp.
Q: What are the faults of low drilling speed, their causes, and how to troubleshoot them?
A: 1. Phenomenon: Both the machine and the drill are functioning normally.
Reason: low working pressure.
Exclusion method: Check the compressor and load to make them compatible.
Eliminate pipeline leaks or blockages, and check if the diameter specifications of the air path affect the airflow volume.
